Who we are

Biddi is a marketplace where local brands take orders online. Each brand runs its own stores; Biddi runs the website and the app they sell through.

What we collect

Your phone number, to sign you in; your name; the addresses you save and their map pins; your orders, the ratings you give them, and the help requests you send.

The location you choose for browsing stays on your device. We receive an address only when you save it or place a delivery order to it.

When you arrive through a link — a brand’s Instagram bio, an ad, a shared link — we note where the link came from and keep it with your order, so the brand can see which of its channels bring orders. This stays with Biddi and the brand.

Who sees it

The brand you order from sees what it needs to prepare and deliver your order: your name, phone number, address and what you ordered. The services that run the platform for us (hosting, and sign-in by Google Firebase) process data on our behalf. We don’t sell your data.

Brands’ ads on Facebook and Instagram

Some brands measure their Facebook and Instagram ads with a Meta Pixel on their own pages of this website. On those pages Meta can learn that you visited, what you viewed and added to your cart, and when you order — with your phone number sent only in a scrambled (hashed) form. A note tells you the first time this applies, and you can turn it off for every brand below.

The Biddi app never shares your data with Meta or any other ad network.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your saved addresses at any time, and change your language. To see or delete your account data, contact us from Help & support.
